Amazon has said it is working to fix the issue with Alexa Voice Assistant that caused a lot of users to experience issues with it.
In a blog post, the company said the “root cause” of the issue was a bug in the way Alexa works with Google Home, the Amazon Echo smart speaker device that has been widely used to control other devices and services such as smart home automation.
In an effort to fix that issue, Amazon has introduced a new feature called Home Assistant which is available to Amazon Echo owners on iOS and Android devices.
The new feature lets users set up a Home Assistant device and make their Echo a voice assistant.
Alexa can then ask the device questions about the home, schedule appointments, turn on lights, and more.
If you are having trouble using Home Assistant, Amazon says you can always switch to a different app for Alexa.
It also notes that it has been working to make the app more secure and more secure by adding an extra layer of security and privacy protections.
Amazon’s announcement comes days after Google announced that it had found a similar bug in its Home assistant, which has been used by millions of people across the world.
