“There’s just no way around it.
My dad was not a big movie buff.
He would watch movies, but he would not spend much time watching movies,” says Adam Wingard, a former writer for The Hangover: Redemption.
“He was a film buff and he loved to watch movies.”
“He loved ‘The Matrix’ and ‘The Hobbit,'” says Wingard.
“So I think for him, the idea of having to go to the cinema and watching movies was an absolute necessity.
And he was like, ‘No, I want to be an actor.’
He wanted to do it.”
Adam Wingard was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Mary and David Wingard on October 4, 1969.
The two met in grade school when Wingard attended the University of Chicago.
After high school, Wingard landed a job as a writer at Warner Bros., and then moved on to become a production assistant on the critically acclaimed, and long-running, The Hangovers franchise.
Wingard and the Wingards’ other children, Joe and Mary, have three sons and three daughters.
Adam Wingards youngest son, Joe, was born with cerebral palsy and was diagnosed with autism at age 5.
Wingards daughter, Sarah, is also diagnosed with cerebral-spinal-dysplasia.
Wingard says he is a “very big advocate” of having his own son, which he describes as “a bit like having my own kid.
My own kid is the same as his.”
Wingard says his eldest son has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis at age 10, and that he will need to get his son some help to manage his illness.
“My son will need a wheelchair for a while, but I think he’s doing pretty well.
He’s doing better,” Wingard tells CNN.
“I’m not too worried about it, but my dad is a very big advocate.”
Wingard admits that he sometimes finds it difficult to stay focused when he is surrounded by family and friends.
“Sometimes I feel like, oh, you know, I have to make it a little easier for my family, but that’s just a normal thing,” Wingards son says.
“It’s not that it’s difficult for me to watch them, it’s just that it can be difficult for my dad to be there.
I just want to keep the family together and keep him out of the way, and he’s a very good actor.””
It’s a huge responsibility to have a family, a great family, and I think I’m able to do that,” Wingares father says.
